Dempsey and Carroll + Schumacher collaboration

You may already be familiar with Dempsey and Carroll: the cards they have are the definition of timeless elegance. The cards are on heavy weight paper which provides a quality feel of heft, and the designs range from the classic: Gold Laurel Wreath to Northeast themes with Sand Dollars, Whales reminiscent of Vineyard Vines, a doggie breed collection. The sets are timeless enough to be extremely versatile, such as the Fleur de Lis in Gold on Blue or the Golden beetle- perhaps foretelling luck for the gardener.

They have just added a new element to the classic designs though: envelopes lines with the wonderful designs from Schumacher. Right now, there are just the envelopes, and they are lined with a variety of 5 different prints from the Chenonceau collection, modern trellis, or the Chiang Mai Dragon. This is a beautiful collection that is certain to be a classic, and would be a welcome addition to any stationery set.

Nothing Elegant (etsy) tape

I know this gets covered a lot, but the tape available from the Nothing Elegant site of etsy truly does elevate regular mail, packages, postings or whatever uses you may have for tape to something that *is* elegant.

I've decided I need more mail post friends though. My card collection has somewhat outgrown my collection of postal loving friends... giving angry eyes at one person in particular. Probably just the NYC snow that's making me especially long for the cozy comforts of mail.
